1. Provider details

This website is owned and operated by Alexandra Papantoni, a qualified Dietitian – Nutritionist (RD), trading as NUTRIAL, Filoktitou 97, Ilion, 131 22, tel. 217 218 3461, email info@nutrial.gr.

2. Nature of the content: important health information

The articles, recipes, advice and all other content on the website are provided for solely informational and educational purposes. They are based on sound scientific evidence at the time of publication, however:

  • they do not constitute a medical diagnosis, treatment or personalised dietary recommendation and do not replace a personal assessment by a doctor or other qualified health professional,
  • must not be used for self-diagnosis or to stop or change any medication,
  • every body is different and results vary from person to person.

If you have a health condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication, have a history of eating disorders or are considering significant changes to your diet, consult your treating physician first or book an appointment for a personalised assessment.

In an emergency, do not use the website or the contact form. Call 166 (National Ambulance Service) or 112 immediately.

If you or someone close to you is struggling with food or body image, do not hesitate to seek help from a mental health professional. We are here to point you in the right direction.

3. Recipes and allergens

Recipes are published as ideas for a balanced diet. Always check the ingredients and product labels for allergens (e.g. nuts, gluten, dairy, sesame) and adapt the recipes to your own needs, intolerances and allergies. Nutritional values, where given, are indicative.

4. Appointment requests

  • Submitting the «Book an appointment» form is a request for contact and not a confirmed booking. The appointment is confirmed only after we have spoken to you by phone or in writing.
  • Information on the cost, duration and format of the sessions is provided to you before the appointment is confirmed.
  • If you cannot attend a confirmed appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that the time can be offered to someone else.
  • Please fill in the form with accurate details and do not include detailed health information in it. We will discuss this during the appointment.

5. Online sessions

Online sessions take place via third-party video conferencing platforms (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet), which are governed by their own terms. For the best experience and to protect your privacy, we recommend joining from a quiet, private space with a reliable internet connection. Sessions are not recorded without your explicit consent.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the website, including texts, articles, recipes, photographs, graphics, logo, the trade name NUTRIAL and design, is the intellectual property of Alexandra Papantoni or its lawful owners and is protected by Greek Law 2121/1993 and EU and international law. You may view and print it for personal, non-commercial use and share links to our pages. Copying, republishing, modifying or commercially exploiting any content without prior written permission is prohibited. To republish an excerpt with attribution, please contact us.

7. Obligations of users

Users undertake to use the website lawfully and in good faith and, in particular, not to:

  • submit false details or the details of third parties without their permission,
  • send unsolicited messages (spam) or malicious software,
  • attempt unauthorised access to the website's systems or disrupt its operation,
  • use automated means to collect content in bulk.

The website may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy policies. You use them at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

We make every effort to ensure that the information on the website is accurate, complete and up to date. However, nutrition science is constantly evolving and we cannot guarantee that the content is always free of errors or covers every case. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from the use of the content without a prior personalised assessment, from temporary unavailability of the website or from technical problems not caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence. This limitation does not affect your rights as a consumer under Greek Law 2251/1994.

We reserve the right to amend these terms. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top, and applies from its publication.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Greek law. We will always first seek an amicable solution to any dispute. As a consumer, you may also contact the Consumer Ombudsman or another alternative dispute resolution body. If no solution is reached, the courts of Athens have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
